At least most of the postal workers I've dealt with are very friendly. But it's like any business - how well is it run? I'm not surprised they're in the red and want to go down to 5 days of mail delivery. Although, on their behalf, I'm sure all the online bill paying, e-mail, e-vites, online card sending and what have you has taken a large chunk of their business.
