Wife: Which one of these dresses do you like better?
Husband: That one.
Wife: Why?
Husband: The other one has an empire waist, and I’m not a fan of the empire waist.
Wife, possibly glaring: My wedding dress had an empire waist…

    B) is a pretty good answer. We women are pretty superficial; tell us how beautiful we are and you *might* get away with whatever else you said that was BAD.

    The root problem is that the husband knows what an empire waist is. Without that knowledge, this conversation doesn’t happen.
