2023

In the last week or so, we had the announcement of the 2023 NFL schedule. Now that we know who will play whom and when, we can start predicting wins and losses.

2022 Summary

Last year, I predicted that

Arizona Cardinals = 9-8
Baltimore Ravens = 10-7

How they actually did was

Arizona Cardinals = 4-13
Baltimore Ravens = 10-7

Ravens was right on, Arizona was not even close. Record prediction is not very reliable

How about the methods overall?

Now that the 2023 schedule is out, I have setup the 2023 NFL predictions. Here is my summary of the results:

I still don’t like the 17-game season, but I don’t think I’m going to be able to change the NFL’s mind on that. I’m also not a fan of the international games, but my local team never seems to get those scheduled, so no matter.

Enjoy the predictions, but there are caveats: if any major player gets injured, that team’s projected results are void. Also, if any roster has changed from last year, that team’s projected results are void. Same thing with new coaches.
