Quick question to ponder, inspired by a comic strip of my youth:

What is the opposite of “pronoun”?

Is it

  • A. Con-noun
  • B. Anti-noun
  • C. Amateur-noun

?

I don’t have the answer, so I’m hoping one of you does.
